The firm’s senior principals are Leslie E. Greis and Emmanuell (Manny) Tzouros. They are supported by a team of real estate investment professionals who are also based in Boston, MA. Our investment team and approach bring the rigor of fundamental research and analysis to private real estate investing. Perennial Capital is independent and unaffiliated with any underlying sponsors.
Leslie E. Greis
Ms. Greis is the founder and CIO of Perennial Capital. She began her real estate career with a large, US real estate syndicator where she was involved in the acquisition of large commercial properties. Later, as EVP of a publicly-held bank, she managed 300+ people and over 90% of the holding company profit of the $1 billion institution and was heavily involved in the evaluation, due diligence and bidding process for failing banks from the FDIC. Later, she became a consultant for Cambridge Associates and worked with clients such as Harvard University and large family offices with world-wide name recognition. Before Perennial Capital, she was the Acting Director of Investments for a NYC-based endowment.
Ms. Greis holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard. She served twice on Harvard University’s Advisory Committee on Shareholder Responsibility and received the Harvard Alumni Association Award for lifetime alumni service. She is a director of CBRE Clarion Global Real Estate Income Fund (NYSE: IGR) and a director of AIM Mutual, Inc., a workers’ compensation insurance company where she chairs the Investment Committee. Recently, she served on the Economic Development Planning Council for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is also on the Executive Committee of the Boston Museum of Science where she was the long time Chair of the Investment Committee. She previously served as Chair of the LPGA Board of Directors and as a board member of the PGA of America.
Emmanuell (Manny) Tzouros
Mr. Tzouros has responsibilities for Perennial Capital’s research and investment capabilities. Mr. Tzouros has over 20 years of alternative investing experience, which includes conducting portfolio consulting, investment analysis and manager due diligence for the benefit of sophisticated institutional investors. Mr. Tzouros joined Perennial Capital to help establish the firm's proprietary global manager research platform. He is involved in all aspects of Perennial Capital’s investment process, including the identification, evaluation and selection of investments for the firm’s clients, as well as the monitoring and reporting of investments. Previously, he worked for FLAG Capital Management, a manager of private equity investment solutions established for high net worth investors, where he evaluated the private equity manager universe and helped establish the firm’s Boston office. Prior to FLAG, he worked in the Boston office of Cambridge Associates, where he specialized in alternative assets research and provided analytical and consulting support in areas such as asset allocation, investment manager selection, cash flow planning and portfolio monitoring.
Mr. Tzouros received his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College, where he was selected to be a portfolio manager for the school’s endowment through the Babson College Fund. He received a B.S. in Business from Skidmore College.
